| I recently moved back to the New England area, this time Portland,ME. I'm originally from Gloucester, MA but have done most of my diving in California, Australia, and Guam. |

| Probably my favorite place so far to dive is the Coral Sea. I went with Coral Sea Diving company (previously Rum Runner) and absolutely fell in love with the area. It's a rough and pretty long ride out there this time of year (16 hours of motoring against the swell), but totally worth the trip. It is not for people who want luxury, because Rum Runner 1 is a 20-year-old sailboat who has seen better days. The quarters are very small, but clean. The crew is awesome, and the atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming. All you do is eat, sleep, and dive; we did 9 dives in around 31 hours. |

| I have my PADI Divemaster cert, but have yet to really use it. I eventually want to get my OSWI, but need to get a little more experience diving in cold water. I also have logged around 200 dives in the past 4 years, about 150 of them from while I was living on Guam for 15 months. |

| I want to dive everywhere! Western Australia with the dugongs, Southern Australia with the blue penguins and sea dragons, Truk lagoon with all the wrecks, Fiji because it's Fiji, Indonesia, Thailand, and Belize just to name a few. But I think my absolute dream destination would be to dive the Galapagos. Being a biologist and big fan of Charles Darwin, the Galapagos is just like Mecca for me. I will get there one day! |
