Official Rules for DivingObsession Club Points
As a registered user of the DivingObsession community, you have access to a feature where you receive DivingObsession Points in exchange for being an active participant in our community. Participation activities include adding divesites, posting messages on diveboads, uploading photos, rating diving operators, etc.These points may be redeemed for Diving Obsession goods, or for entries in future DivingObsession promotions. These are the official rules governing how points can be earned and spent.

Note: Bogus, duplicate, or very low-quality content added will be removed the first time, and result in a 10 point PENALTY each time after the first!

- Void where prohibited by law. No purchase necessary.
- "Invalid" content is any content determined to be false, duplicate, very low-quality, inappropriate, in violation of the Terms of Service, or non-diving related. The determination of whether content is invalid is at the sole discretion of the Outdoor Obsession staff. "Valid" content is any content that is not invalid.
- Registered users get points by adding valid content according to schedule entitled 'Points You Get'. Points will be granted for all valid content added since November 15, 2002 and until futher notice.
- Invalid content will be removed and the user will not receive points. For each instance of invalid content a user adds, beyond the first, the user will receive a 10 point penalty.
- Acquired points may be redeemed for goods as specified in the schedule entitle 'Stuff You Can Get'. Points have no cash value.
- Outdoor Obsession, LLC owners, employees, and their immediate families are not eligible for any Gear Give-Away promotions. They may trade points for all other goods.
- Points do not have an expiration date on them. Redemption of goods may in some cases be limited by available supplies. The redemption form will indicate if there is a limited supply available for an item.
